Oily wastewater coagulation treatment

Oily Wastewater Treatment

An oily wastewater treatment scheme centered on PAM + PAC coagulation and flocculation, used standalone or as the final stage of a sludge treatment line. It can serve as the aqueous-phase end treatment of an oil sludge treatment line, or be used standalone in an oily wastewater station.

Solution Overview

Coagulation and flocculation: removing oil and turbidity from the water phase

The core of oily wastewater treatment is coagulation and flocculation: PAM cationic flocculant completes flocculation and settling, PAC polyaluminium chloride handles final clarification. The compatibility of both chemicals with the C50N3 separation process is field-verified.

Scenario 1

Water-phase end of an oil sludge treatment line

Connects with C50N3 demulsification separation and centrifuge dewatering: the separated oily wastewater enters the coagulation-flocculation stage, PAM flocculates, PAC clarifies, completing the water-phase treatment at the end of the process chain.

Scenario 2

Standalone oily wastewater station

The PAM + PAC scheme can be used independently for coagulation treatment of wastewater at oily wastewater stations; see the industrial oily wastewater station project.
